ThermoLine
Thermal processes are often necessary in the manufacture of electrotechnical and electronic products and components. This is the case, for example, after casting or coating processes and when calibrating sensors.
For these applications, we have developed the conveyor ovens and cooling sections of our ThermoLine product family. The thermal sections enable targeted temperature control of your product. Temperatures from -20 to +150°C can be realized. Accuracies of up to +/- 1°C can be achieved. The Wolf ThermoLine is energy-saving. During the development of the In-Line ovens / cooling chambers, particular attention was paid to optimum thermal insulation. Thermal bridges were avoided. The products are fed in and out through thermal airlocks.
ThermoLines from Wolf
The free-standing ovens work according to the continuous flow principle and can therefore be integrated directly into the flow production. The traceability of the products is maintained.
A special feature of the ThermoLine is that testing/calibration or assembly processes can be integrated into the continuous oven. Thanks to the modular concept, the thermal sections can be varied in length, height and width, depending on the product size and required throughput time. Each module has its own heating and, if necessary, cooling system. Large doors in the modules ensure particularly good accessibility in the thermo lines.
Wolf ThermoLine has its own PLC control system.
The following transport systems can be realized:
Continuous oven in flow production instead of batch process
Heating or cooling processes often require process times of > 30 min and are difficult to integrate into flow production using conventional industrial ovens.
For this reason, thermal processes are often carried out in batches:
The workpieces are removed from the production line and combined into a so-called batch. The workpieces are usually palletized for this purpose. The pallets are then manually placed in an oven and removed again after the process time. The workpieces are then depalletized and returned to the production line. The effort involved is considerable. Traceability of the products is difficult. Errors can also creep in, such as dwell times that are too short or too long inside and outside the oven.
When using an in-line conveyor oven, the effort is significantly lower. The production line does not have to be interrupted. Batch formation is not necessary. Manual loading and unloading of the oven and logistical activities are eliminated. Complete traceability is guaranteed.
Of course, a cold chamber can also be integrated instead of an oven.
Automatic parts handling for loading and unloading the continuous oven
The workpieces can be automatically inserted into and removed from the holders of the oven's transport system. Product traceability is also ensured. The data is assigned to the corresponding transport system position. Wolf ThermoLine conveyor ovens use accumulation roller belts or chains to which suitable workpiece holders are attached as the transport system. They can be stopped precisely, i.e. indexed. This enables automated loading and unloading.
Vertical ThermoLine
With the vertical ThermoLine, the product passes through the thermo line according to the paternoster principle. Where space is limited, the vertical design can save valuable production space. This is a clever alternative to conventional thermo lines.
