Iron soldering

Automatic iron soldering

Iron soldering as a tool for soft soldering has been state of the art for decades. This process can be automated taking into account important criteria. An important criteria is the contact pressure between the soldering iron and the soldering joint to ensure a constant heat transmission.

For this Wolf developed the patented Quick-Step procedure. At iron soldering the flux is fed through one or more flux cores in the soldering wire. The solder joint is heated by the soldering tip and the solder is conducted to the soldering joint.
